Homeschool Support Programme in Trinidad
Full-Time SEA Preparation for Standard 2–3
Standard 2–3 | September 2026 Intake
Where children feel safe, grow steadily, and prepare confidently for SEA.

What Is the Full-Time SEA Preparation Programme?
This is a structured, full-time homeschool support programme for Standard 2–3 students in Trinidad.

Students attend during regular school hours in small cohorts and follow a daily academic timetable aligned with SEA foundations.

Parents remain the legal educators under Ministry homeschooling policy.
Think-Top provides structured instruction, assessment, supervision, and academic reporting. This allows us to calmly prepare students for SEA.
Families choose this programme because they want structure, consistency, and strong foundations leading to SEA pressure increases.

Why Families Are Exploring This Option
Many parents have shared concerns about their child’s current school experience. Common concerns include:
-
Children feeling rushed through the curriculum
-
Large classrooms where children struggle to get individual attention
-
Bullying or social stress that affects confidence and learning
-
Lack of individual attention
-
Children feeling overlooked and unheard
-
Early exam pressure without strong foundations
-
Limited time for reading, thinking, science, and social studies
This programme is being developed in response to those realities.
For some families, school has become stressful rather than supportive. Homeschooling offers flexibility. This programme offers structure within that flexibility.

SEA Registration and Private Candidates
Students enrolled in this programme may sit the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) as private candidates in accordance with Ministry of Education guidelines.
The Ministry recognises private candidates, including:

-
Home-schooled students

Students enrolled in private institutions not registered with the Ministry
Parents complete SEA registration directly with the Ministry during the official registration period.
